Once we are comfortable that we have taken the correct tact, we'll work quickly to get turning into Fusion and updated in HSMWorks. So, based on feedback from customers we decided to take a step back and take a different approach to improve the usability and flexibility of our turning tools. While this approach works fantastic for many milling operations, it has caused some confusion and/or is not quite appropriate for how you turn parts. This approach assumes you want to machine everything but the features or areas you expressly identify (select) to not machine. Our initial approach with turning in HSMWorks relied heavily on the approach we take with our 3D milling strategies. However, based on customer feedback our team has chosen to rework our turning technology. The existing tutorials for turning in HSMWorks will be helpful. Our plan is to release turning support with the release of Inventor HSM 2016 and Inventor HSM PRO 2016 in April coinciding with the launch of Inventor 2016 the same month. Turning is not currently supported in Inventor HSM.
